MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO B.TECH. PROGRAM

Category 

Eligibility Qualifications

Kerala students 

 



Candidates who have passed Higher SecondaryExamination, Kerala or examinations recognizedequivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science put together are eligible for Admission to engineering courses. There will be a relaxation of 5% marks in qualifying examination for SEBC candidates.

Candidate who have a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examination or an examination recognized equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course or at least 3 years, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the Final Diploma Examination are eligible for admission.

 

Above conditions will apply to students admitted under management quota

NRI Students 

50% for Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science put together.

Foreign students/ Students of Indian origin with foreign passport 

Same as for NRI students



AGE
The candidates should have completed the age of 17 at  the date of admission. There is no upper age limit.
FEES



The tuition and other fees will be charged as per the guidelines of the AICTE and Government of Kerala. The fee structure is in the process of revision. The following table gives the details of fees that is applicable for this academic year.

ATTENDANCE


Attendance in lecture and laboratory classes is compulsory. Leave of absence from classes will be permitted based on the reasons for absence. Unauthorized absence from classes will be seriously viewed and will attract penalty. University rules relating to the requirements of minimum percentage (80%) for writing the university examination will be strictly followed. Students getting less than the required attendance will be detained.

Attested copies of the following certificates are to be attached with the application

The students may keep attested copies of certificates since originals are to be deposited with the college

The doors of our college are open to foreign nationals also as per an order of the Government of Kerala.
