 Dr. Shoukath Ali Karuvatt, Principal, AWH  Engineering college, Calicut is an acknowledged educationist, with thirty nine years of experience in active teaching, research and administration both at College & University level. Dr Shoukath Ali Karuvatt did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University. He secured his masters degree in Industrial Machine Systems Design from Kerala University and his doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering from IIT Bombay.

He worked as a professor in reputed engineering colleges like Regional Engineering college - Calicut(NIT)  and TKM Engieering College. He also worked as a project control manager in PI consult, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Shoukath Ali Karuvatt was working in Industrial Engineering Department of King Abdulaziz University, Jedda for the last 6 years. He joined AWH Engineering College in 2009.

He is a member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, Saudi Arabian quality Council(SAQC) ,System Dynamics Society of India and International System Dynamics Society. He is a Life member of Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers, Computer Society of India, Indian Society for Technical Education and also a former member of Indian Institute of Public Administration.
